wscript.exe is a legitimate file. This process is known as the Microsoft Windows Script Host and is part of the Microsoft Windows operating system software. Malware developers or hackers create various types of malicious channels and call them wscript.exe hsv to damage software and therefore hardware.

Hi, I’m running a vbscript that redirects the list of tasks to a file, and I’ll check that most of the wscript.exe processes running under user A are very well present by checking each queue pass and +1 if it’s Matches.

The goal is to check if the wscript under UserA is above a threshold (greater than 3)

I’m payingI’ve tweaked this feature in the Windows Scheduler with a 10-minute phase for this peak scenario monitoring.

I’m buying 2 more scripts for a lot of other view files in a certain good working version that I need to get and run in a year.

The new script has been working satisfactorily for several weeks now, unfortunately I received an email notification a few days ago about a new script with over 300 of our wscripte.exe running in some of UserA’s task lists.

I’ve been both on the server and through the task manager, actually I’m trying to see lots and lots of wscript.exe under user A.

I need to kill these processes immediately and everything looks fine for now.

Firstly, I’m not sure which of the 3 tasks can be called the cause of the spike in wscript.exe, can someone else advise looking at the reason why then there can be several processes of this type?
